Tomatoes with food (with two roots)

This technology for obtaining a generous tomato crop in a home greenhouse is based on the cultivation of one tomato bush, which feeds on two root systems. Show in full.

In early March, seeds are sown in boxes or crates. Then they are covered with plastic wrap and placed near the battery so that the air temperature is within 25-27 degrees. After three to four days, small shoots appear. Then, having removed the polyethylene, they put the boxes on the windowsill so that they are well lit. By the way, very often tender seedlings stretch out and become weak.

Over time, when the tomatoes grow up, it is necessary to vaccinate. In this case, it is imperative to wait until the plants grow five to seven centimeters, and select the strongest. We take two pieces and plant them at a distance of 1-2 centimeters from each other in half-liter cups.

When the plants reach a height of 12-15 centimeters, they are grafted. You can only graft those seedlings, the stems of which are not thinner than a pencil. This means that when all the plants are ready for this operation, a neat cut is made on the trunks of both plants with a blade, the length of which should be from two to three centimeters. And, having connected the plants in the places of the cuts, they are carefully wrapped with a soft polyethylene strip or fixed with a regular clothespin. To prevent the plants from bending, props are installed.

After a week, carefully cut off the plant that turns out to be weaker. But so that the cut site is two to three centimeters higher from the vaccination site. This is how one bush is born, which is fed by two root systems.
When the grafted seedlings grow up and get stronger, it is advisable to open the window several times a day for three to five minutes so that the plants become hardened.

The plants are then planted in a greenhouse, usually at the end of April. During the season, tomatoes must be looked after, fed, and the soil must be loosened. As a result, we collect an amazing harvest.

The fact is that the plant is nourished by two root systems, due to which it becomes very strong, large, and, accordingly, a lot of color appears on it. Thus, throughout the season, you, your relatives and friends will be happy to feast on large and juicy tomatos.

Which planting method is better and more productive ?! Planting strawberries!

❖ Ways of placing strawberry bushes.
❖ Landing patterns.
❖ Advantages and disadvantages Show in full.

There are many options for placing strawberries on the site. And this is not at all a whim of gardeners - each method has its own meaning. We look at all planting options - we choose the ideal option that suits your growing conditions.

✿ 1. Solid carpet - carpet.
Between the plants - 25 cm, they are placed in a checkerboard pattern. Purpose: For early and mid-early varieties. Pros: Strawberries with this method of planting practically do not require maintenance. Early and mid-early varieties form a lot of mustaches, so planting them in rows is pointless - then all summer you will have to cut off unnecessary shoots, and this is a tremendous cost of labor! Disadvantages: The berry grower will produce crops for the first two years. And then the plantation must be re-planted. It is inconvenient to pick berries - to get to the center of the strawberry meadow, you have to walk through the bushes.

✿ 2. Tape in two lines.
Between bushes in a row - 20 - 25 cm, between lines - 30 - 40 cm, between ribbons - 60 - 70 cm. Purpose: For mid-late and late varieties, suitable for large areas. Pros: With this arrangement of plants, it is easy to care for them and it is convenient to pick berries - the space between the lines is like a path, you can easily get to any plant.

Disadvantages: With this planting scheme, a lot of land is empty. And in small areas this is not permissible.

✿ 3. Tape in three lines.
Between bushes - 25 - 30 cm, between lines - 25 - 30 cm, between ribbons - 60 - 70 cm. Purpose: For small areas. Pros: Precious floor space is saved. Disadvantages: Harvesting berries will be more difficult than planting in 2 rows. 4. Ribbon in five lines Between bushes - 15 cm, between lines - 15 cm, between ribbons - 60 cm.

Purpose: For very small areas.
Pros: Substantial space savings.

Moreover, many summer residents act as follows: after collecting the first harvest, the central row is removed, and vegetables are planted in place of strawberries. Radishes, head lettuce, cabbage, garlic, onions and parsley will ideally fit into the berry ribbon. And you can sow flowers in this line - marigolds or calendula.
Disadvantages: These beds are more difficult to care for.

✿ 5. Ribbon in five lines

Purpose: For very small areas.

Disadvantages: These beds are more difficult to care for.

✿ 5. High beds.
Height - 15 - 20 cm, width - 80 - 100 cm. On such a bed, 2 rows of strawberries are placed. Distance between bushes - 25 cm, between rows - 50 cm.
Purpose: For areas with high groundwater levels and wetlands.
Pros: Strawberries planted on a hill will never suffer from excess water. Disadvantages: You will have to spend additional time and effort on arranging the beds. And they take up a lot of space.

In the container, the large-leaved hydrangea feels great and blooms great.

Large-leaved blue garden hydrangea grown in container culture.

Hydrangea containers

For any shrub, containers should be large enough and wide enough to support plant root development and resilience. Most often, clay, concrete, plastic or wooden planters are used.

Metal containers can only be used as an external decorative element: they quickly overheat in the sun and damage the root system of plants.

Clay pots are well suited for growing hydrangeas: they do not heat up, breathe and are quite stable.

Soil for hydrangeas

Hydrangeas are planted in pots of a suitable volume in a mixture made up of equal parts of garden soil, semi-rotten coniferous litter and peat (it is important that it is loose and has an acidic reaction).

Ready-made hydrangea mixes can be purchased at specialty stores and garden centers. This is convenient, since manufacturers always write the pH level on the bags. For blue hydrangeas, it should be 5.5.

Conditions of keeping "white" calla lilies

care and cultivation
Two basic tenets for excellent growth are abundant watering and a moderate temperature between 15-18 degrees. In hotter rooms, the leaves of the plant can be attacked by a spider mite, and therefore systematic spraying with water is necessary. When keeping calla lilies on a non-glazed loggia (balcony), you should take care of protection from precipitation. After flowering, watering is sharply limited, which soon ceases altogether. Around mid-July, an earthen lump is knocked out of the pot, and the culture itself is cleaned of the remnants of leaves. Calla lilies are transplanted into pots, trying not to deeply deepen, slightly covering the neck.

The composition of the substrate during planting includes humus, sand, sod, peat and leafy soil: all components are taken in equal proportions. You can add some horn shavings. The renewed plant is installed on the windowsill and watering is started: at first very moderate and only after 2-3 weeks more frequent and plentiful. In autumn (late October - November), the calla lily pot should be placed as close to the light as possible. Top dressing with liquid fertilizers should be applied every ten days.

- propagation by seeds
Seed propagation of calla lilies is not used very often, but if you want to get plants from seeds, sow them immediately after harvesting and keep the temperature around 20-22 degrees. Only freshly harvested seeds are used for sowing. After the seedlings get stronger, they start picking, and after another 1.5-2 months, transplant them from the box into individual pots. The next year, the seedlings can be put into a dormant state for two months. For their planting, a soil mixture is used, consisting of equal amounts of peat, sand, leaf and sod land.

Growing conditions and care of the chick

In general, chickweed is easy to grow and care for, loves the sun and well-heated areas, such as the southern slopes. It is hardy, hibernates without shelter. It is undemanding to soils, prefers stony or sandy soil, not very fertile, but loose soil without excessive moisture. In the northern regions, for the winter, plantings are covered with humus or compost for reliability. It is not worth insulating it too much, since the chickweed plant is more susceptible to soaking than freezing.

In early spring, if there is little moisture, it is well watered. Before the start of active growth, they are fed with a full-fledged mineral fertilizer. In June, after flowering, the flowering stems are shortened. You can cut shoots in the spring to preserve greater decorativeness, better tillering and lush flowering. A heavily overgrown curtain in the center can become bare over time. To prevent this from happening, after flowering it is trimmed.

- Breeding chickens.
The chickweed plant reproduces well by seeds, in autumn or spring - by dividing the bush. These flowers can be propagated immediately after flowering as green, easily rooted cuttings. Seed cultivation of shrapnel is possible in two ways: sow seeds in February for seedlings or directly into the ground in early spring.

7. Prevention of diseases

The most common problem when growing seedlings is fungal diseases, from which the seedlings can die or stop growing. To prevent such situations, fungicide treatments are regularly carried out. Biological preparations are more suitable for young seedlings, although they are milder and are not always effective in treatment, but are used precisely as a prophylactic agent.

Some crops require frequent watering and a drop in temperature after the appearance of true leaves, while others, on the contrary, need only warm conditions and high humidity. Before planting, it is necessary to read the recommendations indicated by the manufacturer on the seed package.
