Briefly about leaving

Alocasia is a light-loving plant, requires a lot of bright diffused light, but does not tolerate direct sunlight. For normal growth in the spring and summer, the air temperature should be around 24 degrees, plus or minus 2 degrees; in winter, the optimum temperature is 20 degrees, but not lower than 18. During the growing season, it is watered with abundant soft settled water, and from mid-autumn to early spring it is watered less often - so that the soil simply does not dry out. We suggest that you familiarize yourself with the complete information on caring for alocasia at home.

Alokazia needs high air humidity, responds well to spraying with soft warm water. They are fed with mineral fertilizers every 2 weeks during the growing season. Alocasia is not cut off (except for the material for cuttings). From mid-autumn to the end of winter, the plant rests and hardly grows. Transplanting alocasia up to four years of age is necessary annually, and more adult species - when filling the pot with roots or depleting the soil. Alocasia propagates either by cuttings, or by seeds, or daughter tubers.
